Ratewick helps heavy civil, sitework and utility contractors review equipment rental charges before AP pays them. It brings invoices and supporting records together so finance can see what does not line up.
The records behind each charge.
An invoice shows what the rental house billed. Your agreement establishes the terms, the rate sheet records negotiated prices, and off-rent or pickup confirmations document when equipment was called off or collected. Reviewing those records together gives a charge its context.
Ratewick organizes these documents around the vendor, agreement and equipment involved. The goal is to give your finance team a usable rental history without chasing the same records across portals, emails and jobsite teams.
One timeline for each machine.
Follow delivery, the billed period, the off-rent request and pickup in date order. Asset numbers, agreement numbers and equipment descriptions help connect the invoice to the right rental.
Missing or ambiguous information needs a person to resolve it. A pickup date alone does not establish every billing obligation; the agreement and the available off-rent record matter too.
A discrepancy you can inspect.
A finding sets out the billed amount, the expected amount and the potential difference, with a plain-English explanation. Source document pages and quoted text let you trace the calculation back to the records.
Checks use the documented terms rather than assuming every vendor bills the same way. Read what we check for the rental charges and supporting evidence involved.
Review first. Request credits with evidence.
Findings are reviewed before they are shared with the customer. Your team can then decide which discrepancies to raise with the rental house and track them through disputed, recovered or dismissed states.
A vendor dispute export brings the selected lines, amounts and evidence references into a CSV and PDF summary, with a draft email you can copy. Ratewick does not decide what you owe or guarantee that a vendor will issue a credit.
